1. Introduction

LinTech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the SleepAlly mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app. Your privacy is fundamental to our design philosophy — we built SleepAlly to keep your data on your device.

2. Data We Collect

SleepAlly collects the following types of information, all of which are stored locally on your device:

• Personal information entered during onboarding: name, gender, age, weight, height (stored on-device only)
• Sleep session data: start/end times, duration (on-device only)
• Snore event data: timestamps, duration, optional short audio clips per episode (on-device only)
• Habit diary entries: food logs, medication, mood, exercise (on-device only)
• AI Chat: conversation history on-device; when you send a message, contextual sleep statistics may be transmitted to an AI inference provider (see Section 5)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data exclusively to provide app features:

• To detect, log, and analyse snoring patterns
• To provide sleep analytics and insights
• To personalise AI Chat responses based on your sleep history
• To correlate habits with sleep quality

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your on-device database with advertisers or third parties.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Primary storage via Apple SwiftData on your device
• No mandatory cloud account required for core sleep and snore features
• Your device is protected by iOS encryption (Face ID / passcode)
• Audio clips for snore events are stored locally and never uploaded

5. Third-Party Services

SleepAlly integrates with limited third-party services:

• AI inference: When using AI Chat, queries may be sent to an AI provider containing contextual sleep statistics from your sessions. These queries are designed without requiring your name, email, or persistent advertising identifiers.
• YouTube: If you use a YouTube URL for fall-asleep audio or Snore Stop music, Google's player and privacy policies apply while streaming.

6. Microphone Access

• Used for on-device snore detection during an active sleep session when Snore Monitoring is enabled
• Optional short WAV clips per logged episode are stored locally only
• There is no continuous cloud recording — all audio processing happens on your device

7. Children's Privacy

SleepAlly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

• You can delete stored snore log or habit data from Profile > Stored Data
• Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
• EU/EEA users: Rights under GDPR apply (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection)
• California users: Rights under CCPA apply

9. Changes to This Policy

We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
